Science World’s adults-only After Dark series is taking on Halloween this Thursday, October 30. Bloody Science promises to be a spooky science spectacle attendees won’t want to miss, with thrilling sideshow action (think: sword swallowing), vampire science and forensic experiments. Costumes are encouraged, of course.

2. Canyon Frights at the Capilano Suspension Bridge


Have a family-friendly Halloween adventure this weekend at the Capilano Suspension Bridge’s Canyon Frights. Dress up to wander through the Frightful Forest with tree-climbing skeletons, enjoy themed haunting sips and bites, listen to live music at the Loggers’ Grill Plaza or work on the Creepy Canyon Quest scavenger hunt with the kiddos. The spooky theme is on at the Capilano Suspension Bridge until November 2.

3. Halloween Party at Comedy After Dark


For a good ol’ fashioned Halloween party, head to Comedy After Dark this October 31. Enjoy late-night bites, themed cocktails, enter the costume contest and mingle with your favourite Vancouver comedians. Doors to this 19+ event open at 11:15 p.m.

4. Pumpkins After Dark in Burnaby


Marvel at 10,000+ hand-carved pumpkins at Burnaby’s iconic Halloween event: Pumpkins After Dark. If you’re in search of some true terror this Halloween, Western Canada’s largest Halloween haunt is back at Playland. With seven haunted houses, thrilling rides sure to make you scream and spooky snacks, Fright Nights is on for three more nights from October 29 to 31. Tickets include access to all haunted houses and rides
