6 Tulip Festivals to Visit in Greater Vancouver in 2026

Immerse yourself in these dazzling fields of tulips in the Lower Mainland this spring

Some of the first signs of spring are when the earth awakens with tulip buds. Across the Lower Mainland, March and April bring forth tulips that come out of hibernation to provide us with a kaleidoscope of hues, always putting a smile on our faces. Here are some of the most captivating tulip festivals in Greater Vancouver.

1. Harrison Tulip Festival

Canada’s largest tulip festival is back, and it’s bigger and better in 2026. In honour of its 20th anniversary, the festival has unveiled a brand-new Night Garden experience. As dusk falls, enter the magical world of the Show Garden, as it glows with lanterns and twinkling lights, uniquely illuminating the blooms. As you meander the show-stopping displays, enjoy live music, browse a curated evening market featuring local farmers, bakers, artisans, a cidery and brewery, or grab bites from three food trucks, including Dutch street food.

Dubbed the Most Instagrammable Tulip Farm at the prestigious 2024 World Tulip Summit in the birthplace of tulip festivals, Holland, discover 45 acres of vibrant flower fields filled with 14 million spring blooms, including 150 varieties of tulips, alongside fragrant hyacinths, cheerful double daffodils and other early spring flowers. The festival doesn’t just stop at blooms: there are also swing sets, vintage bicycles, a 1950s convertible, a working classic water wheel, a windmill and, for green thumbs, the Hyacinth Mosaic Workshop.

Open daily starting April 10, for approximately four weeks.
Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
5039 Lougheed Highway, Agassiz, B.C.
General admission prices range from $10 to $25, depending on the age and time booked

2. Maan Farms: Spring at the Farm

Home to the country’s only tulip forest, a two-acre cornucopia of splendid flowers, this year’s whimsical Spring at the Farm features a new magical teapot experience. You’ll feel like you just stepped into a fairytale, walking along the forested trails and past a life-size teapot and cups before discovering an enthralling mushroom house, butterfly wings and hidden hollows.

The camera-worthy adventures never end. Meet the farm’s adorable baby animals, while experiencing other magical moments, including Barnyard Adventureland, a tractor pull, climbing wall, giant board games, large slides, zipline, pedal trikes, jumping pillows, play fort, bubble hut and tire mountains. If all this makes you hungry, head to Mama Maan’s Country Kitchen. New this year is a Mini Egg Cheesecake Samosa, as well as festival favourites like the butter chicken bowls, chickpea curry bowls, pizzas, butter chicken poutine, samosas and more.

Daily from March 30 to early May, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

3. Abbotsford Tulip Festival at Lakeland Flowers

Tucked between majestic mountain ranges lies Lakeland Flowers’ Abbotsford Tulip Festival. Indulge in a mesmerizing live display of acres upon acres of tulips coupled with splendid vistas while taking part in a myriad of activities. In the evenings, attendees can enjoy live music or tickle the ivories themselves on the baby grand pianos that dot the tulip fields. On select Fridays, catch local artists as they paint. For children, there will be face painting stations on weekends. You might also want to take Instagram-worthy photos of you and your loved ones on the golden pathways as you play on the ‘yellow brick road,’ or one or all of the canoes, bicycles and swings. As a nod to Dutch culture, there are mammoth klompen (Dutch shoes that you and a friend can actually fit into), and a schoenen winkel (Dutch shoe store).
