The first thing you might notice about this Nordic-inspired cabin is its spacious, fully covered patio. Whether it’s sunny, raining or even snowing, visitors can comfortably sit outside and enjoy being among the towering trees. There is a portable heater in the patio for guests to stay warm and toasty.

The cabin’s charming design extends inside. The interior features the same dreamy light oak wood found on the exterior. The Airbnb features a loft-style sleep area and an additional Murphy-style bed downstairs. The cozy main living space houses a kitchen and indoor wood-burning fireplace. There is a firewood shed right by the cabin, where guests can find pre-cut wood for their convenience. 

The kitchen offers the essentials: there are two hidden pull-out stove tops that conveniently tuck away when not in use. There’s also a coffee machine and toaster available, so guests can enjoy breakfast right by the fireplace.

There is also a full bathroom in this cabin (so no need to worry about the showering situation in the woods). The small but mighty bathroom has a standing shower and some extra storage space.

Activities in the Golden area:

This cozy cabin is located just outside of town, but still very close to popular destinations. The local suspension bridge, Golden Sky Bridge, is walking distance away. Head over to enjoy an afternoon of zip-lining, ropes courses and axe throwing. Not in the mood for anything too physically taxing? You can still enjoy the bridge by simply strolling across and observing the vast views of beautiful British Columbia. For dinner, downtown Golden is only a five-minute drive away from the cabin, and a great option for exploring local eateries. If you’re visiting during the winter months and enjoy hitting the slopes, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a 15-minute drive away.
