The Rain Parachute ($565) from Glasnost is made from cotton treated with a waterproof wax finish. Ideal for a rainy commute by bicycle, this oversized coat can fit several warm layers underneath it. This type of cotton was developed during the Second World War to help Royal Air Force pilots survive after being ejected into the ice-cold ocean. The fabric is eco-friendly and biodegradable.
