We uncover the most picturesque and luxury Airbnb stays beautiful British Columbia has to offer
Location: River Therapy Retreat, Chilliwack
The Details: $95+ per night, plus fees (sleeps two)
The amenities: Plan your next getaway off-grid and head to a tiny (but perfectly cozy) A-frame cabin in the Chilliwack River Valley, run by Emily and Bryce—plus their two dogs, Jasper and Josie. Surrounded by the, “soaring mountains, beautiful rushing river and enchantment of the lush rainforest,” this wonderful glamping-style retreat is designed to leave you feeling at one with nature. This charming space offers a diverting composting-style toilet only, as well as a sink with cold running tap water that you can heat up with a kettle for doing dishes and bathing. It is recommended to bring warm clothes in the colder months; however, a space heater and heated blankets are provided to keep you extra toasty. The kitchen area is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal, and in the summer months you can fire up the BBQ. The private balcony and outdoor space offer a seating area and firepit, to help make summer nights memorable.
Activities in the area: River Therapy Retreat was created as an extension of Emily’s and Bryce’s River Therapy Fishing Company. Their goal is to create the ultimate experience with a range of boating and fishing adventures, which include exploring local hot springs as well as numerous salmon and sturgeon fishing trips.
