Little gift and clothing boutique filled with "special things for nice people."
Tucked into a quaint little place just past North Vancouver and nestled in between the mountains and the ocean in a place called Deep Cove, is a little gift and clothing boutique called Room6.
Owner Megan Curran gives us the inside scoop by answering our usual three Crafty Shop Stop questions including her favourite handmade goodies.
Megan Curran: Eclectic would be a good word to describe Room6. It’s a small space, but people say they feel like they could look for hours and keep finding new things.
Our customers say they love that Room6 is never the same place twice. Walls get painted (or wallpapered!), fixtures move and new products arrive weekly. I look for special things that I would either love to buy for myself, or buy for a gift for someone nice. Connecting just the right “special thing” with the right “nice person” is what it’s all about.

I love handmade treasures and lucky for me, there are lots of talented artisans and designers out there. I love supporting local talent too, so you’ll find quite a few Canadian made collections including reclaimed wood jewelry by Billy Would Designs, accessories by Track and Field and clothing by Dru’s Design.
Can everything be my favourite!? Okay, if I had to name three, my current picks would be: Tiny Warbler (handmade in Vancouver by the lovely Kate Keeler), Ashley Goldberg prints and Necklush scarves from Brooklyn, NY.
