Here are three great cocktail recipes to enjoy tequila this summer.

1. Classic Grand Margarita

This crowd-pleasing cocktail needs no introduction. It can be served straight up or on the rocks.

Tasting notes: Tart, agave, orange, light

INGREDIENTS

What to do: Shake with ice and strain into a rocks glass with a lime wedge and Maldon salt rim.

2. Bodega Margarita

This is a classic margarita at heart with a naturopathic element added from the marshmallow root—an herbal and immune-boosting margarita.

Tasting notes: Tart, herbal, orange, light

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ml Grand Marnier
  • 30 ml Espolon Blanco tequila
  • 15 ml marshmallow root tincture
  • 23 ml fresh lime juice
  • 15 ml rich simple syrup

What to do: Mix, then garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel and salt rim.

3. Platinum Margarita

INGREDIENTS

  • 90 ml Grand Marnier
  • 240 ml Malva flower tequila
  • 120 ml fresh lime juice
  • 40 g sugar
  • 60 ml liquid egg white
  • 12 ice cubes

What to do: Mix, then garnish with Malva petals and a pink salt rim.
