Tonight, the NCIS team continues the hunt for criminal mastermind Harper Dearing

When we last left them, NCIS HQ was bombed by criminal mastermind Harper Dearing (The West Wing’s Richard Schiff). In the aftermath of the explosion, the team must emerge from the rubble and begin their hunt for the elusive terrorist before he strikes again.

New Girl (New Season)
8 p.m., Citytv & Fox
After getting his cast removed, Schmidt throws himself a “rebranding party” and brings along “veteran shot girl” Casey (guest star Parker Posey) and rookie Jess to assist her. Another new episode airs at 9 p.m.

Ben and Kate (New Series)
8:30 p.m., Citytv & Fox
Kate (Dakota Johnson) is an overly organized working single mother who is prepared for any emergency — except the arrival of her slacker older brother Ben (Nat Faxon), who decides to move in with her and help out looking after her five-year-old daughter.

NCIS: Los Angeles (New Season)
9:01 p.m., Global & CBS
Things are a little chaotic around the NCIS office after Callen’s public shooting of the Chameleon and the announcement that Hetty is retiring. Now, Callen is on suspension and Hetty finds retirement to be strange and unsettling.

The Mindy Project (New Series)

The Office’s Mindy Kaling stars in this new sitcom as Mindy Lahiri, an OB/GYN who is as competent on the job as she is incompetent when it comes to her love life. Determined to change every negative aspect of herself and find the perfect man, she sets out to start today despite the “help” of her friends and co-workers.

Vegas (New Series)

It’s Las Vegas, 1960, and the mob still has a firm grip on the money-making empire of legalized gambling. Seeing a need for a new lawman in town and sickened by the corruption that is destroying it, rancher Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid) takes the job as Sin City’s sheriff with an eye to bring down Vincent Savino (The Shield’s Michael Chiklis), a Chicago gangster who has been recently hired as general manager of the hottest resort on the strip.
