What to Expect at the 2026 BC Home + Garden Show

Learn from industry experts and shop the curated marketplace at the 53rd annual BC Home + Garden Show from March 12-15

The 53rd annual BC Home + Garden Show returns from Thursday, March 12 to Sunday, March 15 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

The show brings together a lineup of local and national industry experts to showcase the latest trends and offer tips in gardening and landscaping, home improvement, design and culinary arts. “It’s the perfect place to connect with the experts, discover new products and get tailored advice for all your project needs,” says Madelyne Lemieux, show coordinator for the BC Home + Garden Show. The event will include over 300 exhibitors, celebrity presentations and new features for attendees to check out at the convention centre, a new location for this year’s marketplace.

What’s On?

New to 2026 is the Garden to Table Learning Hub, to teach attendees how to grow their own ingredients. “This offers hands-on workshops, practical demonstrations, and expert tips to help you turn any space into a thriving edible garden,” says Lemieux. “We’ll be exploring simple and sustainable ways to bring fresh homegrown food into our everyday lives.”

Another new feature is the Paddle and Play Zone. Pickleball enthusiasts and interested novices can pick up a paddle to try out the full court set up in the zone’s lounge area. Guests can also play other classic yard games or take a break with food and drinks.

The Sleep Country Main Stage will have a slew of presentations across the four days, including the headline show with Kortney Wilson, Home Network TV host and designer of Life Is Messy. Wilson will present “Designed to Stay, Styled to Sell: Life Is Messy, But Your Home Doesn’t Have To Be,” on March 13 at 6 p.m. and March 14 at 1 p.m. “I’m excited to be back in Vancouver, one of my favourite cities in the world, sharing how to declutter, reorganize and create simple focal points that instantly make a house feel like home,” Wilson shared in a statement to BCLiving. “My hope is people leave realizing transformation doesn’t require a big budget, just a clear place to start.”

While the full schedule is still being finalized, exciting headliners on the main stage and cooking stage include Chef Bruno Feldeisen, judge on CBC’s Great Canadian Baking Show, renovation specialist Adam Weir, Carissa Kasper of Seed & Nourish and executive chef Harris Sakalis at the Fairmont Waterfront.

Support Local

Of course, supporting local takes centre stage. The show will feature numerous B.C.-based and Canadian vendors, exhibitors and speakers. The Collective Markets is a curated pop-up market where attendees can shop from a range of independent, local makers and small businesses. “They offer everything from handmade jewellery and ceramics to artisan food, fashion and paper goods, so that’s a great place to support local and find something truly unique,” says Lemieux.

Maximizing your home projects on a budget is always on trend, Lemieux notes, which often includes doing-it-yourself. This theme is in full force at the 2026 BC Home + Garden Show. The DIY Training Center in Maple Ridge will be teaching practical skills to all levels. “They’re going to be doing some training on how you can tackle some of those projects yourself, as well as just general inspiration on smaller, easier and tangible updates that you can make in your home,” she says.

“We’ve got all the experts here under one roof,” adds Lemieux. “Stop by all the features, take in a stage presentation, and just come with an open mind and be ready to have lots of conversations. Come with questions and photos of your space as well.”

Tickets for adults are $16 ($14 online until March 11), $13 for seniors ($11 online until March 11) and free for children 12 and under.
