Top 5 Books You’ll Want to Cozy up to This Fall

Fill your feed with the fall feels at these five perfect backdrops
The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and—dare we remind you—the rain (and pumpkin spice lattes) are back. It can only mean one thing: fall is here, and you need to plan your Instagram game accordingly.
Here are 5 places where you’ll want to capture some stories and shots…
It’s finally fall, and picking the biggest, most orange pumpkin to carve into an intricate masterpiece is surely one of the biggest joys of the season. Document your search at The Pumpkin Patch at Richmond Country Farms, where you can also pick up the season’s bounty at a fraction of the price you’d pay at the supermarket.
Get lost at the Chiliwack Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm, open now until October 31st. Beyond the 12-acre corn maze, there’s also an indoor hay-bale maze, pedal carts, tractor rides, a petting zoo and more. Wear your trendiest rain boots—it can get muddy out there.
For the most reliably beautiful displays of red and yellow hues, try VanDusen Botanical Garden. The garden’s displays of Eastern North American and Ginkgo trees burst into life in late September and October. Prefer not to pay an entry fee? Spend an afternoon strolling the leafy neighbourhoods of Shaughnessy or Kitsilano, or head up to Queen Elizabeth Park, located at the city’s highest point, where you can pose over a bird’s-eye view of autumn colours across Vancouver. Downtown, the seawall is another reliable spot for fall foliage. Try the Stanley Park section near the Rowing Club or the Coal Harbour section below Cactus Club to see the most vibrant in the next few weeks.
There’s a reason why so much filming takes place in the picturesque town of Fort Langley. With this quaint historic town as your backdrop, the falling leaves just add to the charm. Try posing in front of the cheery yellow town hall or one of the historic storefronts downtown.
Fuel up or relax, but make sure it’s in a beautiful setting if it’s going on the ‘gram. Enjoy amazing baguettes with combinations like pear, prosciutto and blue brie at Finch’s Tea House downtown, or warm up on a rainy day at the adorable Le Marché St. George (pictured).
