This loft-style space has abundant natural lighting, as there are large windows dressed along the property walls. These windows offer an amazing sightline to the views below the slope. The main floor houses a kitchen, living space and bathroom, while the loft acts as the main sleeping area.

In the loft area, you’ll see a pop of red in the form of the wood flooring and a unique, narrow window spanning the width of the wall. The bed faces the same floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living space, ensuring guests can enjoy natural lighting from all directions. If you require complete darkness to sleep, no worries—there’s a curtain by the loft that you can pull across to block light from the large windows.

The green couch in the living space is what caught my eye. It’s a focal point in the otherwise neutral-toned Kaslo tiny home. The living space’s colour palette, combined with the aesthetics of the raw-edge coffee table, ties in perfectly with the surrounding nature.

In the main living space, you’ll find a kitchen with all the cooking necessities and a handy countertop-bar hybrid seating situation right by the window. Enjoy dinner with your person while looking out the window at the sunset.

Although there is no T.V. in this space, you won’t be short of entertainment. There are board games available, so you can truly unplug and enjoy uninterrupted time with your company. Picture this: after a day of exploring in nature, you head back to the cabin, put on some jazz and enjoy a game of Jenga. Add a glass of red to top off the picture-perfect weekend.

Another plus to this cabin is your access to both a lake and mountain view. What’s more, furry friends are allowed to stay! Bring your fur baby on an epic outdoor adventure before retreating to this cozy space together.

Activities in the Kaslo area:

This tiny home is situated on five acres of land, with access to a hiking trail that leads into the rainforest. Enjoy a light walk in nature after dinner, or head over during the day for a more extensive hike. Want to soak up the warmer weather on sandy beaches instead? There is a public beach just a two-minute drive north of the cabin. If you’re hoping to grab a meal at a restaurant in town, the town of Kaslo is only a seven-minute drive away. There are plenty of beaches for a stroll or water activities within walking distance to the main town.
