We uncover the most picturesque and unique Airbnb stays beautiful British Columbia has to offer
Location: Pemberton, British Columbia
The details: $1,170 per night (two-night minimum stay) plus fees; sleeps six
The amenities: This three-bedroom luxury home is located in the middle of Pemberton Meadows in a large pastoral field surrounded by mountains. It offers an open living, dining and kitchen space downstairs, making it the ideal accommodation for a large family retreat or a getaway with friends. Large windows throughout the house let in plenty of natural light and frame the epic mountain and valley views. In addition to the three bedrooms with king-sized beds in each, there are also three bathrooms in the home. Room-darkening shades are available for you to customize the indoor atmosphere for any occasion. With polished wooden accents and marble walls throughout the space, this property feels as if it is one with nature. Guests can enjoy a private hot tub just steps away from the main house. There is also an open backyard with plenty of room to lounge on the grass (or snow, if you plan to visit in the winter months).
Activities in the area: Pemberton Meadows is a quaint farm valley with plenty of activities offered throughout the year. During the winter months, you can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at Whistler, which is just a 45-minute drive away. Looking for more relaxed activities? Sip your hot cocoa in the private hot tub on the property as you stargaze at the night sky. If you’re planning a summer visit, mountain biking and hiking are great options. For water activities, you can sign up for stand-up paddle boarding on the Lillooet River. Horseback riding is also available at Copper Cayuse Outfitters. Pro tip from the host: sign up for the three-hour ride—you’ll traverse across the river!
