Local Getaway: 3 Modern Stays in the Okanagan

The details:
When Palm Springs meets lush forests—this stay is a true (re)treat. This hotel-style suite has a Scandinavian-inspired interior, including lots of wood tones and pops of green throughout. Inside the open-concept space is a kitchenette, a king-sized bed, a single pull-out sofa bed and a bathroom with a rainfall shower. This space is compact, but has all the necessities for unwinding at the end of the day.

Although the interior of this Airbnb is beautiful, the star of the show is the outdoor wooden barrel sauna. Enjoy a view of the evergreens through the little window in the barrel as you relax in the heat after a day of exploring in Osoyoos. This spot is only a 12-minute drive away from downtown Osoyoos and a 30-minute drive from Mount Baldy Ski Resort.

The details:
This cozy mid-century modern cabin is a great option for a romantic getaway. With a spacious murphy bed, full kitchen and a unique wine barrel shower in the living space, this spot offers immaculate vibes for a trip for two away from the city. There is a lovely view of the mountains and trees outside through the patio doors. There’s also a separate wood-burning sauna, outdoor cold plunge tub and fire pit just steps away from the cabin.
