Spring is just around the corner, and what better way to enjoy the sun than to explore B.C.’s nature with your family? We’ve compiled three stays throughout the province that can accommodate an entire family (or two)! The details: Experience a retreat in the woods at this cozy cabin with your family and friends. This stay includes two bathrooms and four bedrooms, complete with a full kitchen and outdoor hot tub. There’s a “girls” room with pink decorations and stuffed toys, and a “boys” room with a tent for the kids. The interior of the cabin has modern fixtures and invites nature indoors by blending wooden and black metal elements throughout. The attention to detail in the interior adds a fun touch to the overall space, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living room make the space feel more open.

The details: This spacious stay is located on the Sunshine Coast, right by Madeira Park. This four-bedroom home has seven beds, three full bathrooms and a powder room, with enough room for two entire families. Enjoy wraparound views of the ocean through the expansive windows in almost every room, as well as private access to the water for paddleboarding. There is an outdoor hot tub available for those who prefer calmer waters. There is also a full kitchen to cook up a full meal for the family. 3. A-Frame Cabin

The details: Enjoy a cozy retreat at this two-storey cabin. It features rustic interior elements with unique curved wood walls and an indoor fireplace. There are two bedrooms in the home, with a total of one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. For the cooking enthusiasts, you’ll also find a large kitchen with everything you need. Imagine enjoying breakfast with a view of the vast B.C. mountains—bliss. The cabin is within walking distance of Kawkawa Lake, where you can fish and swim outdoors. Or, if you prefer to stay in, you can spend a weekend enjoying the available hot tub or relaxing in the outdoor barrel sauna. There is a small creek right by the backyard, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
