The finalists competing for roles on Glee in Oxygen's The Glee Project will be greeted by two familiar faces
Glee’s Santana (Naya Rivera) and Finn (Cory Monteith)
As Ryan Murphy has previously stated, most of the Glee cast will appear as mentors during Season 2 of The Glee Project, the Oxygen reality competition that rewards young triple-threats with multi-episode arcs on the hit FOX series. Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera have now joined Lea Michele in advising the contestants throughout Season 2.
Lea Michele will appear in the season 2 premiere focused on “Individuality,” while Monteith joins the hopefuls for the June 19 installment about “Vulnerability” and bullying. Rivera stops by during the fourth episode on June 26 to talk about “Sexuality.”
Episode 2 will see Samuel Larsen, one of Season 1’s co-winners, teaching the current contestants about “Dance-ability.” Larsen and Damian McGinty both won seven-episode arcs on Glee, but have exceeded their initial episode count with no end in sight. In addition, runners-up Alex Newell and Lindsay Pearce appeared on multiple episodes as competition for our favorite New Directions members.
The Glee Project Season 2 premieres Tuesday, June 5 at 10 p.m. on Oxygen.
