Garlic has naturally occurring sulfur, which is often used to treat fungus.
To help reduce late-summer attacks of blight and fungus, have on hand a spray bottle loaded with this garlic and water mixture.
Blend 10 cloves of garlic with 1 litre (4 cups) of water. Strain through cheesecloth and place the liquid in a container. Label and use on black spot, blight and mildews. Spray infected plants thoroughly at the first sign of any trouble and repeat every 10 days.
