Location: Sebastian and Co. Fine Meats
Location: 1299 Howe Street, Vancouver
The Dish: Charcuterie cones
The Details: As we enjoy the warm summer weather, why not treat yourself to a fun, sophisticated snack… like a hand-held cone of utter deliciousness? If you’re looking for a new savoury treat to enjoy this summer, check out the charming charcuterie cones by Vancouver artisan butchery, Sebastian and Co. Fine Meats. Featuring a delicious selection of local and imported charcuterie, crisp pickles, aged cheese, a light breadstick and a nifty little dollop of grainy mustard, you can graze on a little bit of Europe, right in your own backyard. These delicious cones were created by owner Sebastian Cortez, a trained professional chef-turned-butcher who once worked for Toronto’s renowned Jamie Kennedy. With a worldly flair and inspiration from the artisan butcher shops of Europe, Sebastian and Co.’s new Howe Street location expands upon its popular West Van offering. The very first of its kind in Canada, this location features a dramatic window-facing custom dry aging room, an asado-inspired charcoal rub and other tasty grill pairings, and of course, their summer-perfect charcuterie cones.
