With over 200 retail vendors and 80 food booths, there's a new twist on the old Richmond Night Market
The Richmond Night Market returns
Richmond’s annual Summer Night Market on Vulcan Way is getting some friendly competition this year as the Richmond Night Market, run by Target Event Production, settles back in town.
This new night market – a reimagining of Target’s original Night Market, which ran every summer from 2000 to 2007 – offers 80 food booths, more than 200 retail vendors, live entertainment, carnival rides and a children’s entertainment zone, all in an expansive 18-acre site.
The new market is a boon for car-free folks, as it’s located steps away from the Canada Line’s Bridgeport station and is a quick 20-minute SkyTrain ride from downtown Vancouver. The market is open Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight, and Sundays and holidays from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. It runs until October 8.
