Restaurant: Mister and Lee’s Donuts
Location: Mister Artisan Ice Cream, 1835 West 1st Avenue, Vancouver
The Dish: An anniversary-edition chocolate ice cream and donut sandwich
The Details: In celebration of Mister’s grand opening at their new Kitsilano location—as well as their upcoming sixth anniversary—Vancouver’s original artisan liquid-nitrogen ice cream shop is teaming up with their friends from Lee’s Donuts for the ultimate summer treat. For those with a serious sweet tooth, the dessert features chocolate trio and donut ice cream served in a classic honey dip donut which is, in turn, hot-pressed to order ($8.50).
In addition to the limited-edition feature, enjoy a special chocolate trio ice cream pint ($13), featuring an Ovaltine ice cream base with Nutella swirl and Lee’s Donut Chocolate Cake crumbles at Lee’s Donuts (1689 Johnston Street, Vancouver) and at both Mister locations in Yaletown and Kitsilano, starting June 11th.
