Do you love football? Do you love hockey? If the answer is yes to both, then the Vancouver Giants Super Bowl Party is the place to be. Watch the Giants take on the Kamloops Blazers while enjoying football-themed family fun. They’ll be giving away some awesome prizes to lucky fans, like a comfy recliner for you to watch the big game in, and autographed Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson Seattle Seahawks jerseys. When sports collide, awesome things happen.
Move over, wine! The latest in drinking fads can be seen at Dine Out Vancouver’s Tea Gastronomy Experience. Guests can choose from an eight- or five-course meal, with each dish paired with a TWG tea. Throwback to the dirty ’30s with another Dine Out Vancouver event, a Secret Supper Soiree. Participants will board a double decker and be taken to two different locations for a bite of some of Vancouver’s tastiest secrets. The soiree is speakeasy themed and participants are invited to go all-out on their ’30s-style attire. Doors open at 10 a.m. and close when everything has been sold. Be sure to show up early if you want to get a good spot in line.
You might not be able to see the Super Bowl in person, but kicking back in a comfy seat and watching it at the Rio Theatre is the next best thing. They’ll be screening the pre-game commentary and the game live on their big screen, complete with a licensed bar, live burlesque show, and plenty of enthusiastic football fans. And if that’s not enough to convince you, admission to the event is completely free. Touchdown!
