Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon BC celebrated their 17th annual gala and it was a night to remember
On Friday, October 4, Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon (RMH BC) hosted their 17th annual ‘A Night to Dream Gala’ which raised a record $680,000 in gross proceeds.
Over 400 dynamic influencers, business and community leaders, including RMH BC’s CEO, Richard Pass, joined together for the event at the Fairmont Pacific Rim.
This year’s gala featured a coveted live auction energetically directed by the talented New York-based Harry Santa-Olalla, and incredible participation in the ‘Gift A Night’ drive. To complete the evening, gala attendees enjoyed a memorable feast while celebrated Canadian country singer-songwriter, Jojo Mason lit up the room with an exclusive live performance.
This year commemorates the five-year anniversary of RMH BC in its current home on the BC Children’s Hospital Campus, which continues to provide support, compassion and much-needed resources for families who travel to the region seeking life-saving medical treatment for their children.
Through generous donations and fundraisers like the ‘A Night to Dream Gala,’ RMH BC is able to offer a home away from home, a community of support, and a restful space for families to heal better together. The largest fundraising event annually for the cause, the gala has raised over $3 million since 2014.
