Lady Gaga Designer Misty Greer to Show Candy Land Collection

Burlesque fashion show to highlight candy-inspired looks by the designer of Lady Gaga’s Monster Mouse Ear headpiece

Walk the pink-red carpet on Friday, October 22 at Hard Candy, a sizzling burlesque fashion show featuring the creations of Vancouver pin-up boudoir Scout Boutique and Misty Greer, the creative force behind the retro-rock line Trunkshow.

Scout Boutique resurrects lost vintage looks into glamorous modern streetwear, while Misty Greer takes the classic, sultry film noir vixen and adorns her with the hard, spiky textures of rock ‘n roll. 

The Candy Land Collection is inspired by Misty Greer’s favourite candy colours and will consist of nine looks (complete with sequins and Swarovski crystals), all available for sale after the show.

“For the show, I plan to make fascinators and little hair accessories inspired by the Monster Mouse Ear creation,” says Misty, whose Monster Mouse Ear headpiece was actually worn on-stage in concert by Lady Gaga herself, and whose onzies have been gifted to Gaga cohort Lady Starlight.

The evening will also feature nibblies, wine and, best of all, 10 percent off everything in the store.
