It was another record-breaking year for the 37th annual Arts Umbrella Splash auction and gala

Local art aficionados, patrons, creatives, as well as business and community leaders gathered together in support of Splash, Arts Umbrella’s flagship art auction and gala. The sold-out event raised a record-breaking $1.075 million in total revenue, allowing Arts Umbrella to continue providing young people across Metro Vancouver with equitable access to arts education through bursaries and scholarships.

Architect and heritage planner Robert Lemon has made a $2-million contribution to the Arts Umbrella Building Campaign in the name of his late partner Robert (Bob) Ledingham. To celebrate Bob’s appreciation of theatre and passion for education, the Robert M. Ledingham School of Theatre & Music will provide young people with access to extensive training opportunities, led by Artistic Director Paul Moniz de Sá.
