Where to Try Asia’s Viral Head Spa Treatments in Metro Vancouver

Five local head spa salons to kick-start your scalp health journey

The Asian 10-step head spa treatment has been trending in recent months, with people saying it’s a *must try* when you’re in Asia. But did you know that you can experience these treatments right here in Vancouver

Head spas are similar to regular spas, but with a focus on scalp and hair health. It’s just as relaxing and rejuvenating as visiting a full body spa—but instead of your body being treated, your scalp is the main character. This is a great activity for a self-care afternoon with friends, as a date or to simply treat yourself. We’ve compiled a few spots offering head spa treatments around the Vancouver area that are just as good as what you can find abroad.

1. Headicure Head Spa

Headicure Head Spa

This Mount Pleasant spa offers five different treatment packages to cover a variety of scalp needs. The more affordable option features a 75-minute treatment, where professionals conduct a scalp exfoliation, light therapy according to your scalp conditions, scalp and hair detox treatment, deep scalp massage and heat therapy. This package already sounds ah-mazing, but if you want to take it up a notch, Headicure also offers a 120-minute “Signature Package” that includes everything from the previous package, plus a facial and Thai Herbal Ball massage, among other additional treatments.
