A three-night minimum stay allows for exploring the signature cultural, culinary and wellness offerings, which Naviva guides tailor to each guest’s unique needs and desires
Perched on the edge of a private peninsula in Punta Mita on the Riviera Nayarit rests Naviva, a Four Seasons Resort and lush 48-acre forested retreat dotted with 15 luxury tents. The adults-only, all-inclusive eco-escape embraces nature’s healing properties through its biophilic design, an immersive concept, weaving natural elements into every architectural, interior design and guest experience. The result is transformative, holistically connecting people with place in a deeply meaningful way.
From cocooning spa pods, forest facials and a house of heat to clifftop dining and sleeping beneath the stars, Naviva promises an unforgettable journey, reconnecting you with nature and self.
Naviva tents blur the lines, connecting outside and in, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and rollable canvas walls offering sweeping jungle views.Open-air living spaces and king bedrooms seamlessly flow onto expansive patios, with a plunge pool, outdoor shower and hammock or firepit. Spa-style ensuites feature deep soaking tubs and skylit showers to ensure privacy while revealing endless outdoor connections. Minibars are refreshed daily with local beer, soft drinks, juices, coffee, confectionaries and anything else you request to make your stay more comfortable.
While its culinary program exemplifies Four Seasons Resorts’ excellence, the all-encompassing execution is unique to Naviva. The chef creates a daily signature dish for each meal, inspired by the fresh catch, resort garden harvest and local seasonal ingredients. However, without formal menus, dining at Naviva is truly guest-centric, and the culinary team welcomes the challenge of preparing whatever you crave. Where you dine is also entirely up to you. Take a picnic on the beach, savour ceviche clifftop at Copal Cocina, lounge for lunch sipping coconut margaritas alongside Selva Pool, or stay in bed for breakfast, lunch and dinner—the choice is always yours.
Naviva’s spa is a transformative journey for guests to experience at their own pace. Spa treatments occur in one of two private pods—Alba or Ocaso—each with an outdoor shower and timber soaking tub wrapped in nature. Signature rituals offer a glimpse into traditional Mexican practices, using natural products with therapeutic properties, including Indigenous stones, Mayan mud, volcanic black clay and the bark and leaves from Tepezcohuite trees. Each stay at Naviva includes one 60-minute treatment, like the forest facial, which uses reishi and snow mushrooms to heal and hydrate the skin.
Eco-therapy is the heart of Naviva, and the resort’s collection of wellness opportunities provides guests with varying-intensity nature experiences to energize the body and relax the mind. Level up your fitness with a trainer at the open-air Mar Gym, using boxing, boulders, and trees for strength and resistance training. Or venture out on a sunrise hike with a local guide, exploring Naviva’s network of coastal jungle trails and learning about area flora and fauna. For guests seeking a slower, more restorative pace, go for a healing sound bath, grounding yoga practice or meditation overlooking the crashing waves of the Pacific at Riso Terrace.
Join a traditional Indigenous healer (curanderos) in Naviva’s House of Heat. The egg-shaped dome design of the Temazcal represents the womb of Mother Earth; while the guided ceremony embraces ancient spiritual healing practices that will test your strength, resolve, stamina and vulnerability. After settling inside, the curandero adds hot rocks to the ceremonial firepit, then ladles water with medicinal herbs to create steam. Each ceremony features four doors (sessions), with stories shared in song. After each door, the curandero lifts the canvas opening to let in fresh air and bring in additional hot stones in preparation for the next door. Choose one of Naviva’s new and full moon community ceremonies or customize a private Temazcal to focus on gratitude, devotion or rebirth.
Naviva sits within the exclusive 1,500-acre gated Punta Mita Resort, which boasts two five-star hotels—the Four Seasons and St. Regis—as well as luxury private residences and a pair of signature Jack Nicklaus golf courses. The area, overlooking Banderas Bay, is popular with surfers and for whale-watching from December through March. Beyond the resort gates, you’ll discover a quaint beachfront town sprinkled with local restaurants, boutiques and adventure outfitters. If you’re travelling with children, the Four Seasons Punta Mita offers the perfect alternative to Naviva, with exceptional Kids of All Seasons programming and enriching cultural experiences, including Mexican chocolate making and the bucket-list sunset turtle release.
