Q: This seedling has appeared in my flower box, and I don’t know what it is. I’m loathe to pull it up in case it’s a plant. We just bought the house, and aren’t sure what perennials might be coming up from previous owners. We’re in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
I can’t tell from the leaves exactly what it is, but it may well be a nice sort of annual (as it seems to be a seedling). If you don’t want it exactly where it is, why not transplant it to somewhere else, until it blooms and you can be sure what it is?
