How to Transition Your Skincare From Summer to Fall
Take delight in the charming effect of containers on patios, decks and summer outdoor spaces.
Container gardens continue to be a popular summer choice for patios, balconies and decks. Caring for these mini-gardens requires regular watering in early morning or evening, and frequently applied fertilizer to keep plants in good health.
In the planter pictured above, Proven Winners has combined the beautiful deep-pink Superbells, often called mini petunias, with a mildew-resistant variety of purple/blue verbena. The golden-yellow oxalis contrasts perfectly with the warm brick-red tones of the terra-cotta pot.
Be sure to set your containers on bricks or “pot feet” to allow for good drainage.
