An unusual, heavy-flowering plant, Helleborus × hybridus ‘Sparkling Diamond’ is a beautiful addition to a winter garden

The cup-shaped, double white blooms gently nod downwards and are offset by lush evergreen foliage. Hardy to zone 5, this perennial needs humus-rich soil with good drainage and is delightful for a shade garden. Flowering winter through early spring, it might even pop up while snow is still on the ground.
