Bamboo teepees for peas and beans

A renewable resource, bamboo makes the perfect framework to support beans, peas or other climbing plants. It’s easy to install a full row of teepees for enough beans for the freezer too.

I am growing ‘Matucana’ sweet peas and trailing nasturtiums together with my ‘Lazy Housewife’ beans this year. Adding climbing annuals to the teepee makes an eye-popping ornamental edible display. It’s fun for the kids to hide under the teepee too!
