With an array of burgers, Splitz Grill is a crowd-pleaser in the local community

Hankering for a burger? Well, here’s a place for you. Located at Main and 27th, Splitz Grill serves up a mouth-watering burger. Not in the mood for beef, then why not try their lentil burger (pictured above). Made fresh daily, these burgers deliciously combine lentils, cumin, chillies and carrots into a mouth-watering patty. But if you still haven’t found your niche, the menu also offers the Wild Sockeye, Salt Spring Island Lamb or Free Range Bison Burger.

In January 2008, Trevor and Miriam Jackson opened Splitz Grill in Vancouver (they had previously owned and operated the Whistler location, which was sold to long-time friends) and have been thrilled with the location since day one.
 

“I love the community,” says Trevor Jackson. “People were so enthusiastic when we opened and we haven’t seen that disappear. We get a lot of repeat customers coming through our doors. Lots of locals and families too.”

And it isn’t just the customers that make this a great location; it is also the neighbouring businesses. “I buy some of my produce from the shop across the street, and I share a lot of ideas with the restaurant next door,” says Jackson. “We all get along well and support one another. I am very glad we opened up here.”
