We're showcasing Vancouver's best restaurants and special menu items—and why they should be your next meal
Restaurant: Nuba
Location: Various; Details online
The Dish: New summer menu items
The Details: A Vancouver favourite, Nuba serves up authentic Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern twist and 10/10 taste. Seriously, it’s so good. Featuring fresh, locally sourced and flavourful seasonal ingredients, the team at Nuba have created a summer menu that packs a delicious punch. Alongside classics like their organic chickpea hummus, halloumi cheese mezze and falafel plates, new dishes include a watermelon and feta salad, grilled cauliflower steak rubbed with ras el hanout spices, fresh cilantro and garlic-infused olive oil, bison flat-iron steak with browned orange-sage butter, Fraser Valley roasted half chicken, grilled lamb chops with sun-dried Turkish chili flakes, fresh oregano and citrus, plus melt-in-your-mouth desserts like znoud el-sit, which is ricotta, mascarpone, cinnamon, rose water and honey rolled into crispy phyllo sheets.
Nuba’s new menu is available at all four locations for dine-in and take-out.
