We're showcasing Vancouver's best restaurants and special menu items—and why they should be your next meal
Restaurant: Fable Kitchen
Location: 1944 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver
The Dish: All the brunch
The Details: Brunch is back at Fable Kitchen—and the best news? It’s available all week. But if you’re looking to really indulge, check out the Prohibition Brunch menu on weekends, which includes coffee or tea, a choice of beverage (juice, mocktail, cocktail, beer or smoothie), your choice of entrée, along with a fresh baked scone or muffin and a cookie or treat for dessert for only $25 per person. Menu highlights include the Fable Scrambler (pictured above), which features scrambled eggs topped with Parmesan foam, served with toasted challah and breakfast potatoes (we recommend upgrading to the rosti potatoes); Pulled Pork Johnny Cakes (pictured below), cornmeal pancakes with pulled pork (two layers), tomato jam and pickled jalapeños (add a sunny-side-up egg, trust us); and Fable’s French Toast with house-made challah bread, mascarpone, mixed berries and house jam (kids will love this one).
Brunch is served on Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Prohibition Brunch is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
