The Dish: A gourmet four-course picnic, priced at $98
The Details: Celebrate the summer season with a picnic like no other at VanDusen’s tranquil botanical garden. Hosted by the folks at Truffles Fine Foods, select a gourmet four-course picnic with regular or plant-based food options, and a menu that features Italian al fresco dishes and delicious modern options to ignite those tastebuds. Canapes include prosciutto melon bites, meat and vegan BLTs, rainbow rolls and more, with entrees featuring a porchetta sandwich, Tuscan grilled chicken or a vegan torta rustica. All entrees are served with marinated, grilled summer veggies and new potato salad, alongside a heirloom tomato and burrata salad and the option between a peach and almond tiramisu or vegan chocolate mousse for desert.
The gourmet picnic is available for a limited time only until August 29th, from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with booking online. To ensure safety, guests are allocated two hours for each seating, with admission to the gardens included. Additional liquor options must be pre-booked and added to cart before checkout.
