Where to Find Dubai Chewy Cookies in Metro Vancouver

The perfect combination of chewy, crunchy and nutty

Following the Dubai chocolate hype, you may have seen the term “Dubai chewy cookie” circulating on the internet. Contrary to its name, the Dubai chewy cookie actually originates from South Korea. What exactly is a chewy cookie? Different stores make this treat with subtle variations, but it generally features a crunchy filling of toasted kataifi mixed with pistachio paste and tahini, wrapped in a chewy, mochi-like paste and topped with cocoa powder

Whether you’re a trend-chaser or simply someone with a sweet tooth, you’ll likely enjoy this crunchy, chewy goodness. Here are some spots in Metro Vancouver where you can find this viral treat.

Millda Bakery

1. Goldie’s Donuts & Bakery

This bakery specializes in fluffy donuts and offers various Korean pastries, including the popular salt bread and Dubai chewy cookies. Goldie’s version uses chewy marshmallow on the exterior and traditional kataifi filling. Pick up the chewy cookie along with one of their original offerings, the Dubai chocolate donut.
