Zulu Records rows of vinyl records

Rows upon rows of vinyl at Zulu Records.

Hang out in Zulu’s vinyl den, relax and spin the old school wax

Let that inky vinyl smell, crackly vintage sound and velvety feel of brushes transport you to another time—triggering distant memories, warm fuzzy feelings or (for the vinyl newbie) unearthing a whole new world.

Vinyl Appreciation Night

Thursday, September 30, 2010, 7-9 p.m.

Zulu Records, 1972 West 4th Ave, Vancouver

FREE!!!

This Thursday, Zulu Records opens its doors for an evening of wax. While the rain is sure to be pouring outside the shop windows, inside the tables will be spinning, the headphones will be out and friends, family and neighbours will be communing over their favourite analog music.

Zulu Records has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, full of vintage furniture for lounging, and on this extra groovy evening there’ll be FREE drinks. Flip through stacks and rows of vintage goodies as well as newer releases that are joining the vinyl comeback. Gawk at Zulu’s vinyl art wall and take advantage of the special event discount on all wax in the store.

No kids, this isn’t the set of a new Jetsons film… it’s Zulu Records!!

Zulu staff will be dusting off some goodies to tease your ears (eeek, I can’t wait)! Before you wander over, why not check out their latest stock online and start pencilling in your wish-list? Who knows just what you might find: Stan Getz, The Kinks, Miles Davis, Zappa… Raffi?!

The event is open to all—you, me, little niños, wiry-haired oldies and everyone in between. See you there!
