Chic clothes, cool cars and local stars all come together for the charity event of the year
When: May 24Where: Brian Jessel BMW, 2311 Boundary Road, Vancouver
Now in its ninth year, Brian Jessel BMW’s Cabriolet Charity Gala is one of the most influential charity benefits of the year. Held right at the dealership, proceeds from this year’s gala will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation. The event will include the city’s hottest entertainment, an exclusive fashion show and attendance by some of Vancouver’s most influential, all coming together to support a great cause.
VIP guests will have access to runway seating at a fashion show by designer Gianni Maanaki. Lebanese-born Maanaki settled in Vancouver in 2012 and has designed clothing for world-class clients, including Middle-Eastern royalty and international celebrities. The event features the grand reveal of BMW’s latest innovation, the BMW i8, and Maanaki has designed a dress inspired by the sleek sports car to celebrate the launch of the vehicle. The dress will be auctioned off at the end of the show as part of the event’s live auction.
Other entertainment will include hip hop-jazz fusion pianist Max Zipursky, concert pianist Daniel Chow and DJs Trevor Risk and Zeeaa. Alongside the live auction will be a silent auction. With donations from over 50 businesses such as Hastings Racecourse, Sutton Place Hotel, Hawksworth Restaurant and many others, all proceeds from the auctions will be going to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation.
The Cabriolet Charity Gala is the perfect opportunity to indulge in a night of luxury while supporting the fight against one of the deadliest forms of cancer. General attendance to the gala has sold out, but there is still room for VIP Registration at the minimum suggested donation of $500 per person. Visit Brian Jessel BMW’s website for more information or to donate.
