Ten TV teasers to kickstart your Monday

Since Mondays are just the worst, we have decided to give your week a much-needed wake-up call with 10 TV teasers — just to remind you that when the work day is over, your DVR waits to welcome you home.

This week’s edition of Monday Kickstart includes some New Girl bling, a change of location for Grey’s Anatomy docs, the return of a familiar face on Modern Family, and much more.

New Girl: Winston gets an earring. Schmidt reacts… pretty much how you’d expect him to. It’s magnificent.

Grey’s Anatomy: Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are shooting finale scenes this week in Big Bear, where Grey’s has shot lake scenes on location in previous seasons. We’re hoping it’s just so beautiful that it persuades them to sign on for Season 9.

The Client List: In an upcoming episode, a regular client dies on Riley’s table. Kind of. (We promise that will actually make sense when you see it.)

Scandal: Before the end of the season, a character we kinda love is going to get stabbed in the neck. With scissors. How’s that for scandalous?

Dance Moms: Miami: This week, the Miami dancers’ group routine takes a page from Dance Moms instructor Abby Lee Miller’s book with a somewhat controversial theme… and it reveals that one of the moms has a criminal past.

Californication: Let’s just say that in season 6, art begins to imitate life in a big way. And someone’s coming out of the closet!

Cougar Town: A beloved member of the cul-de-sac crew will be in mortal danger in the May 15 episode It’ll All Work Out. We speak of none other than Big Carl, Jules’ go-to giant wine glass. Will Carl survive? If not, will Jules be able to deal with the loss of another family member, after Big Joe last season?

Modern Family: The Dunphy-Pritchett-Tuckers are going to Disneyland! The family heads to the Magic Kingdom in the May 9 episode, and they run into more than just Mickey at the park — Claire gets a shock when she sees Haley’s ex-boyfriend. Yes, folks… Dylan is back. Rejoice.

Celebrity Apprentice: Two people get fired in the May 6 episode after Trump gets a little advice from former contestants Marlee Matlin and John Rich. In a surprise twist, the project winner will end up getting some extra cash to donate to their charity — $50k in addition to the prize amount.
