1. Get mesmerized by jellies

The Vancouver Aquarium isn’t just for schoolchildren on field trips. See sharks, sea lions, octopuses, sea otters and axolotls up close. Wander around the Amazon gallery to check out sloths, monkeys, scarlet ibises and parakeets. And be sure to spend some time in front of the huge tank of jellies, watching these otherworldly invertebrates gently drifting around.
