Compost your Christmas tree

Each year, the Lions Club holds tree-chipping events throughout communities in Vancouver, usually the first weekend in January. For a small cash or non-perishable food donation, volunteers will chip your tree and turn it into compost. To find chipping locations in your neighbourhood, visit the city of Vancouver’s website and search for “Christmas tree recycling.”
