9 B.C.-Based Design Studios with Exhibitions at IDS Vancouver 2025

Don't miss these local designers and studios putting on immersive exhibitions at IDS Vancouver this weekend

The Interior Design Show (IDS) Vancouver returns this weekend, from September 25 to 28. The show brings together design lovers and makers for one long weekend filled with inspiring talks, a curated marketplace, immersive exhibitions and more, all to showcase and celebrate the best of the West Coast design industry. And there are plenty of B.C.-based makers and design studios giving talks or selling at The District marketplace. Many also have their very own exhibitions at IDS Vancouver this weekend—here are nine to check out.

3. Stooludio

Despite what the name might imply, Stooludio doesn’t make bar stools, but they do make some pretty unique rugs and plant vases. Stooludio is as playful as the name suggests, working with digital automation and slow making to create collections where each object is a one-of-its-kind. Their work is also at the Studio North exhibition.

4. Giles Runeckles Design, ZOOHAUS

Look for the designer’s KOLLAGƎ design language, SIT abstract seating and sculptural BOOOM/FETTi lighting collections, along with a few surprises.
