Pecha Kucha filled the Vogue Theatre for its 24th rendition of eclectic presenters and visual ideas, and Vancouverites dressed for the occasion
Petsha Kootsha? Pechakcha? How do you pronounce the sold-out event where an accomplished mix of Vancouverites visually present their stories with flair and funny for approximately six and a half minutes? Either way, once you attend an edition of Pecha Kucha, you’ll quickly realize it’s the content that’ll have you hooked – and leave you inspired.
The 24th edition of Pecha Kucha included everything from a choreographer to a cocktail mixologist, a Yaletown blow-dry bar owner to a Downtown Eastside beauty volunteer; an eclectic mix that brought out an equally varied visual buffet of Vancouverites. Here’s a look at who was there and how they looked.
