Create the perfect final touch for your festive table this fall with this easy DIY project
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the thought of family and friends gathered together enjoying each other’s company and eating delicious food gets me so excited. Depending on whether you’re hosting dinner or attending as a guest, this centrepiece is a thoughtful touch that will make any table look incredible.
I put this DIY project to the test to see for myself how it would turn out… and it was a total Pinterest success!
Here’s how to make a beautiful Thanksgiving centrepiece in no time at all…
Find the perfect-sized pumpkin. It can be any size you want depending on how many florals you have, the size of your table, and how much of a showstopper you want to create. I went with a perfectly medium-sized white pumpkin.
Wash and dry the entire pumpkin to remove any dirt and buff out any flaws.
Cut the top off the pumpkin and clean out the insides.
Find a cup or jar that fits inside the pumpkin and sits nicely without moving around.
Gather your florals and select your colour palette. Cut the stems and arrange as desired. Always leave a little extra length on the stems just in case—you can always trim more if you’d like.
Place your florals and greenery inside the cup or jar, fill it with water, pop it into the pumpkin, and voilà, you’re done!
