We're showcasing Vancouver's best restaurants and special menu items—and why they should be your next meal
Restaurant: The Teahouse in Stanley Park
Location: 7501 Stanley Park Drive, Vancouver
The Dish: Weekend Brunch
The Details: The Teahouse in Stanley Park’s brunch service was unfortunately put on hiatus during the pandemic, but it’s back and better than ever with a list of decadent dishes from new executive chef Sic Kim and his team. From brunch staples to elevated classics, menu highlights include the Liège waffles, paired with seasonal fruit and berries, maple syrup and dulce de leche whipped cream (kids will especially love this one), Asparagus Tart with Macedonian feta, spinach, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce (the kind of treat you’d never make at home), and Shakshuka, a traditional North African/Middle Eastern egg dish that’s served with San Marzano tomato sauce, chickpeas, cracked pepper and grilled baguette (hearty and flavourful). Start with freshly baked croissants and indulge in a little wake-me-up specialty coffee or boozy beverage (there are seven bubbly cocktails to choose from and three Caesars) while you relax and enjoy the oceanfront views.
The Teahouse in Stanley Park is open nightly for dinner service Thursday to Monday from 4 p.m., and for brunch service on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to make reservations online or by contacting the restaurant directly at 604-669-3281.
