Vancouver Art Book Fair (VABF) returns to the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre from July 4–6, 2025. This year’s program engages directly with recent political shifts and issues like borders, safety, and free speech. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore a wide range of publications — from DIY zines to museum catalogues — and engage directly with artists, editors, and publishers. The fair features nearly 100 exhibitors, including 29 new participants like Nothing New Projects (Ottawa), ODD ONE OUT (Hong Kong), Now Place (San Francisco) and Homie House Press (USA). Local first-time exhibitors include Griffin Art Projects and VIVO Media Arts Centre, and visitors can be the first to see new publications by Hazel Meyer, Paige Gratland, and Cathy Busby Projects. Throughout the weekend, VABF will offer an extensive line up of public programming and panels (with ASL interpretation). Admission is free and open to the public.
