Experience the heartbeat of Ghana and beyond at “A Night of African Music”, on Saturday, May 24th at the Ukrainian Hall, 805 East Pender Street in Vancouver, BC. Presented by the Time Will Tell Arts Society, the evening promises a vibrant celebration of rhythm, movement, and culture led by Adanu Habobo, Vancouver’s premier Ghanaian Drum and Dance Ensemble, and international guests. The night opens at 5:30 pm with Ghanian food for purchase, a free Agbadza dance workshop at 6:30 pm, and the performance kicks off at 7:30 pm with an Afro-fusion trio performance to start. Co-directed by master artists Dr. Kofi Gbolonyo and Dr. Curtis Andrews, the evening features a powerful lineup of international guest artists from Ghana and beyond.
