The City of Richmond, Steveston Community Society and Richmond Agricultural and Industrial Society present the 78th annual Steveston Salmon Festival on July 1, 2025. Taking place across Steveston Village, one of the country’s largest Canada Day celebrations will feature a show-stopping community parade, live music, performances by local youth and professional bands, a variety of delicious food, and much more. Don’t miss this year’s family-friendly programming at the brand new Salmon Run Zone located next to the refreshed Steveston Community Park playground. Festivalgoers will have lots to explore, from the artisans’ Marketplace and Art Show, to the Japanese Culture Show, and sets from local bands including the Ten Souljers, The BluesHawks, and more. Foodies won’t want to miss the freshly barbecued Salmon Bake or the iconic Japanese-Canadian version of chow mein, paying tribute to Steveston’s diverse community and history.
