Vancouver’s favourite visual arts festival takes flight across the city’s eastside next month at studios, workshops, garages and artists’ homes. Based on true events, Berni Stapleton’s play The Double Axe Murders is a psychological thriller steeped in Newfoundland folklore. In 1809, two trappers disappear at Cow Head, Newfoundland.
