Although The X Factor's second season won't debut until this fall, controversy has already started swirling around the show's new female judges
Your new judging panel (from left to right): LA Reid, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and Simon Cowell
Stories have been swirling that things are off to a bit of a rocky start with Britney Spears and Demi Lovato on The X Factor. With this in mind, FOX has released a new promo for the show playing up the controversy.
In the clip, FOX’s regular voice-over guy says, “If Simon thought L.A. Reid was a handful last year, just wait until the new judges arrive.” It’s then followed by the frequently foul-mouthed Cowell saying, “Oh [bleep].”
There have been rumblings that Spears has offered some trouble for the singing competition. During her first day on the job at the Austin, TX auditions, Spears left the judging table after a contestant mangled her song “Hold It Against Me.” The singer later explained on Twitter that she was just taking a break.
The X Factor is set to return to FOX this fall. Of course it will face some stiff competition as The Voice has also slated their return date for that time of year.
