The X Factor’s search for two new celebrity judges has finally come to a conclusion, with the reality show offering roles to two huge names: Britney Spears and Demi Lovato

After countless fits, starts and rumors, it appears that The X Factor has finally settled on two new judges.

E! News is reporting that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have offers to join the singing competition and have agreed to terms. The only thing left for the two is actually to sign the contracts.

Spears, who has long been believed to be in line for one of the open positions, will reportedly bring home $15 million as part of a one-year deal. No word yet on how much Lovato will make.

A spokesperson for FOX would not comment on the report.

The program has been looking for replacements for Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, both of whom were fired after Season 1. The seemingly never-ending list of potential candidates reportedly included Janet Jackson, Fergie, LeAnn Rimes, Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne.
