Modern Family delivers a jam-packed episode this week

Modern Family (Season Finale)
9 p.m., Citytv & ABC
Jay and Manny step in to take Lily to her dance recital when Gloria joins Mitch and Cam as a translator when they finally get their chance to adopt a new baby. Meanwhile, Phil and Claire proudly send Alex off to her prom before a shocking announcement from Haley sends them reeling.

Hollywood Treasure (New Season)
6 p.m. & 10 p.m., Space
Joe Maddalena is a hunter and collector of the rarest of Hollywood’s props, costumes and memorabilia. Each week, he and his team scour the planet for things like the actual car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with often surprising results. In this episode, they travel to “middle earth” to visit actor Sean Astin and check out his Lord of the Rings collection.

American Idol (Season Finale)
8 p.m., CTV & Fox
Idol finales are traditionally big, bloated, bombastic affairs, jam-packed with big-name musical performers and celebrity cameos, so why should this year’s be any different? Tune in to find out if Ryan Seacrest has come up with any new time-stalling techniques to burn through two hours before announcing which contestant is this year’s winner.

The Middle (Season Finale)

When Mike’s brother Rusty (guest star Norm Macdonald) announces his plan to have his wedding at the Heck house, this causes all sorts of problems for the family. Among these is the fact that the date coincides with a party that Brick wanted to attend.

Don’t Trust the B**** in Apt. 23 (Season Finale)
9:32 p.m., Citytv & ABC
June begins to feel the pressure of keeping up with Chloe’s distinctive social life (she even has a Japanese comic book based on her). Elsewhere, James Van Der Beek throws a hissy fit when he finds out Dean Cain’s (guest starring as himself) dressing room on Dancing With the Stars is bigger than his.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Season Finale)
10 p.m., NBC
Two TV doctors and a 30 Rock dimwit will appear in this season finale, featuring guest stars Peter Jacobson (House), Brooke Smith (Grey’s Anatomy) and Dean Winters (a.k.a. “Beeper King” Dennis Duffy).

Revenge (Season Finale)
10 p.m., Citytv & ABC
With their entire world crumbling around them, the Graysons are finally feeling the vengeful power of Emily’s elaborate plan when everything comes to an explosive conclusion in this thrilling season finale.
